Founder and Principal, Tali Oren has a reverence for the inherent beauty of natural materials and landscapes, and thoughtfully incorporates them into her work. Tali and our talented team are especially adroit at creating elevated, layered spaces and luxurious interiors that speak to both the past and the present.
Founded in 2018, Tali Oren Design is a full-service interior design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects with offices in Denver and New York. Working with seasoned architects, contractors, and consultants to breathe life into each space, Tali and the team seek to give every project a narrative that is underscored by integrity, uncompromising creativity, and nuanced detail.
Each project begins with inspiration and a concept reflective of TOD clients' diverse needs. Expertise in and enthusiasm for designing exquisite, multifunctional spaces rooted in strategic preferences and daily needs is ever present in everything we do.
Through Tali’s personal appreciation for global exploration and an affinity towards natural landscapes, the materiality of her work evokes thought provoking, eclectic and natural energy.
A graduate of New York’s Pratt Institute, Tali received a Master’s of Science in Interior Architecture and Design. Her graduate career focused on furniture and interior design at the Danish Institute of Design in Copenhagen, as well as Retail Design at Elisava, School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona.
Drawing inspiration from references in architecture, art, fashion, and music history, TOD creates spaces that are reflective of the people who bring them to life. While a client’s own story is the impetus for each project, Tali often draws inspiration from travels and fashion combining timeless yet edgy aesthetics into interiors.
Her eye for design is honed by ten years of interior design experience beginning with a background in event planning and floral design for the Arthur Backal hospitality group in New York City. Tali’s life-long passion for the arts and design guides her towards a playful combination of monochromatic palettes with neutral tones, and vibrant pops of color that satiate the desire for dramatic, evocative spaces.
Tali combines the classic with the cool, and the timely with the timeless, while creating balanced interiors that incorporate understated elegance and modern sophistication.
When away from clients' projects, Tali can be found spending time enjoying her own home, with her twin nephew and niece, hiking the Rocky Mountains or surfing in the Hamptons while bringing a love of nature into everyday life. Her generous hospitality is frequently enjoyed by friends and family over farm-to-table meals. She especially enjoys showcasing a love for seasonal ingredients from local stands and markets and creating tablescapes set with beautifully appointed garden-fresh florals.
